    Gone with the wind

Ultimate concealment that is. I mainly carry IWB under just a plain old t-shirt. Today was with the G19 like most days, and I drove to the hospital and got out of the truck after our brief rain shower this afternoon. Stepped out into about a 30mph wind out of the east while walking north to the entrance. Well, the wind plastered my t-shirt against my right side wrapping my Glock in a nice little impression right there on my side. A Glock blister on my side! There's a good reason I always wear black shirts when I carry this way....extra subtlety for those otherwise embarrassing moments I've never thought of until today.

Wind and getting wet can do that. I have a G23 and am thinking of getting a G27.

When I lived in SW Oklahoma we considered a 30 MPH wind a calm day! Seriously though, those occasions are going to happen, no such thing as a 100% concealed/no print rig. Luckily most sheep don't pay any attention to anything but their own little worlds.

    It happens.

I’ve had my jacket blow open and expose my pistol so many times, I cannot count.

When it does happen, if you act like it’s no big deal no one else will either.

Now that's the truth (North Texas) LOL. Around here, it just common to see CCs all over the place if your looking, the winds always blowing, but as stated, most don't even look beyond their nose, that's why they never see trouble coming. They are called victims in my book not all, but quite a few.

I would be willing to bet that regardless of the print no one will notice. People see what they expect to see.

    .
In South Florida we don't call a day breezy until it reaches 45MPH. That is one of the reasons I wear a vest. Stiffer fabric with pockets full of stuff makes it harder to accidentally display the weapon.

I was talking to my neighbor yesterday when I got home from work, and I had taken my Glock 30 out of the car and had it under my arm. I was not trying to hide it, and the butt of the gun was very obvious. However, it wasn't until I grabbed the gun from under my arm and started to turn to walk into the house that my neighbor said,"Oh wow! I didn't even know you even had a gun."

We were only standin 4 feet apart, and were face to face. The sheep have no clue!

Same thing happened to a buddy of mine, only he was in full view of an LEO who was staring at him. Apparently the LEO didn't notice, or else he would have said something.

Good idea on the dark shirts.

I either wear tshirts, polos, or button down short sleeves. I just use my thumb to hold the bottom of the shirt down while putting my hand in my pocket. Keeps the shirt down and don't have to worry about playing show and tell.
