Well since this thread is 4 years old, I doubt if the judge or anyone else really cares anymore.
Freedom doesn't come free. It is bought and paid for by the lives and blood of our men and women in uniform.

This may have already been told but in Shreveport, LA several years ago, a pawn shop named Brittians on Hollywood at Hearne Ave was robbed by three males. They shot the owner i(Gary Britian) n the neck. He returned fire and hit one of them. As they left the store, he went out the door after them and shot another. The last man got away but was later located. He still talks about it and now all his employees are armed. There has not been another robbery there.
A few years before that, a place in the downtown area named City Cycle Gun SHop was robbed during the day. The lady owner drew her gun and fired. The robber was found outside the store soaking up the sidewalk with his blood. The place closed a few months later.

Keep your booger hook off the bang switch until you want to destroy something .
Walk into my lgs with ill intent and you're looking at four armed men one of whom is a champion shooter.
You gotta be some kind of stupid to try to rob a gun store. Probably the people who do so have a death wish. Robberies outside of the store or after being followed home from one are a little more common.
