    Congrats on the walk...

Bunny is mistaken. I think she may be equating a mall with a public place like a library.

There is no law against going into a mall unless its posted. At least not to my knowledge.

One of the very first times I carried I went to an outdoor mall with my wife and son and I walked nearly a block three feet from two LV police officers. Needless to say I was a little nervous but neither of them noticed and I've been comfortable carrying ever since.

Welcome to the brotherhood of CC.

Don't worry about SIXTO, he's really a nice guy, his bark is much worse than his bite....... just don't mention anything to him about his bad eye!!

We were told, in class 2 weeks ago, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES may you carry a firearm, either open or concealed, into a shopping mall. I assume they meant the indoor ones. They then got into the fact that if you enter a mall through an anchor store, like Macy's, that store won't/may not have the sign posted, but you need to exit, go back to your car, and leave your firearm. But all malls are supposed to have the notice itself posted somewhere inside, near the entrances.

I thought it was disappointing, because I figure if I need to adjust my wardrobe a little bit, what better way than by CC and checking out outfits in the dressing room, right? But they said NOPE. I wrote it down in my notebook to remind myself, because you know as soon as the permit comes through, I'm strapping on a holster and going clothes shopping!

An Inside the Waistband Holster is more comfortable than you think, and really ads a new dimension to concealed carry. Check out De Santis.

You can't carry concealed at a mall in NC? That's the place all of the crazy's decide to shoot up first!! As a cop, that's the #1 place to carry off-duty.
