"State police still seeking leads in Wal-Mart checkout stabbing

TOWN OF WALLKILL ó State police are investigating case of a Middletown-area man who was repeatedly stabbed while in the checkout line at the Town of Wallkill Wal-Mart on Route 211.
The stabbing happened about 10:45 p.m. Friday. Police said the 20-year-old victim and the assailant argued in the checkout line just before the stabbing.
The victim was taken to Orange Regional Medical Centerís Horton Campus in Middletown, where police say he was treated for injuries that were not life-threatening.
Police described the assailant as a Hispanic man in his early 20s, about 5 feet 11 inches tall with short black hair, wearing black pants with a silver design on the sides.
He was with a woman with red hair, who was roughly 17 years old, about 160 pounds, and wearing jeans and a blue jacket.
