Since my primary CCW may not be immediately available (in my briefcase or locked in a desk drawer at work; in a belt holster while driving), it occurred to me that I need a few secondary alternatives, if only to buy some time to get to the primary. A NAA mini-revolver (.22LR) is usually in my left front pants pocket. A Kel-Tec P32 is usually in my right front pants pocket, and it can easily be switched to shirt pocket or left inside jacket pocket while driving.

    Yes, I have a S&W 642 as a BUG to either my G29 or G33

I carry a snubnose as a BUG almost daily; you never know when you're going to need it...

I carry nothing more than an LCP in my front right pocket at all times...
It is utterly illogical to believe that passing laws to reduce gun violence will be successful when those who are commiting the gun violence do not obey the law.

I don't have a BUG. My CZ 75B is the one and only.

Finally, someone I can relate with. At 110+ temps in the summer and my disabled status; CC isn't as easy as it use to be. I suppose it makes better sense to have a BUG, but for now I'm good.

About 90% of the time. I agree with "two is one, one is none" Clint Smith quote.

    Everybody needs a J-Frame.

Sidebar: What is it about these internal locks that many have issue with? In the case of the 642; is it somehow less reliable or what? Ok, I don't like them either but I don't believe they have been known to hurt anything, or have they?

I actually carry my little bug more ofter than I carry my normal carry gun. I can pretty much always find a place for it no matter how I am dressed or where I am going.

My 642 is my bug but it is more constant than my primary carry which I rotate as I usually do every few weeks.

I haven't carried a bug yet, as hubby is with me often. However in certain areas, flying solo it's nice to have that option. A speed strip or an extra mag depending on what I'm carrying usually goes along in a pocket.

I really don't see the point in a BUG for the average Joe.
