Took 95 days to get it, Miami

I sent in my paper work on January 20th, that day of infamy, lol, to celebrate obamanation day. The check cleared February 25th so I knew they got to it. It came in the mail on May 5th. I remember a tampa bay story that the department of agriculture(in charge of carry permits) in Florida were backlogged by 187,000 in February and that they were to hire 61 additional employees to cope. I am happy i was not at the bottom of the stack, lol.

Congrats on the arrival of your permit! Be safe!

I'm sure the 95 day wait was one of the longest waits for one item. But it was worth it. Let us know how the WW walk goes!

I sent mine on March 23, check cleared on April 22. It takes about 60 days after check clears to receive license.

My paperwork went in at the beginning of February. I'm at day 86 of 90 right now and still waiting. Congrats on the permit.

Wow! That's a while! In Maine it took me 1 1/2 weeks! I used my DD 214 (exit sheet from military), maybe that had something to do with it?

Mine took 105 days, mailbox to mailbox, used a finger print card (not electronic) and submitted a DD 214.

Congrats on the new permit...3 months, not bad compared to many.
