Haven't encountered any signs like that here in VT,at least the places I'v been to.Things are pretty quiet 'round here but in this day an age you never know so i think I would do as others have said and take my chances carrying to protect myself and family.

My instructor, (also town marshall) told me that if a private business, place of residence, etc, if they posted "no firearms" that's their business, their property, their perrogative. If it's posted then you are considered notified. But, if you do carry against the posting or verbal notification, I understand that would be considered trespassing. He also told me that we do have preemption laws in AZ. No public venue, like parks, etc., can prohibit firearms by lawful possessors. I respect private property rights and will defend my own. Just take your money elsewhere.

I didn't read all of the posts in this thread but I agree with what some are saying, i carry anywhere the law allows regardless of signs right or wrong. The fact is that you could carry a battle ax across your back and alot of "sheeple" won't even notice. Therefor am not at all worried about getting made.
