OK, still remains pretty damn childish IMHO. All it does is scream "look at me".
For those that do "the walk", what will you do when your little walk results in someone spotting your supposedly concealed weapon and the cops show up?
A CCW is not a toy. The whole point in having it is so you can keep it concealed without printing or having someone notice it. Strap the weapon on, make sure no one can tell by looking in a mirror and go about your business.
I may be the grumpy old man in the thread, but like I said, a CCW is not a toy and should not be treated as one.

OK, and why must one walk thru WalMart or any other store just to prove that you can do so without getting spotted?
What exactly are you trying to prove?
If you have to go to a store and walk around without being detected, all that means is you are not confident in the manner you have chosen to carry. If you didn't conceal well enough, get spotted, cops come and you get questioned at the very least, that just proves that you are not ready to carry in a proper manner.
Get your CCW, figure out AT HOME the best way to conceal, and then go about your business. Seems simple enough to me.
All those who choose to play the game will one day realize just how stupid they were when they first started carrying. Some day, one of the "Walmart Walk" people will get caught and most likely will not end well.

Congrats! I called about mine today. Nice lady said it was issued today and i should see it in the mail in 7to 14 days.

Since I've had my permit, I have been to Walmart (they had ammo! but i couldn't afford it:( ) I bought some laminate for my CCL. I also went to eat Chinese for dinner with a friend and went to a customers house to repair their roof and measure for a fence. Then I took my sons to the range and enjoyed shooting the .22 rifle with them. We also watched a mother turkey with 10 chicks walk within 15 ft. of us. (I belong to a conservation club so we do not allow hunting on club grounds)
It's better to be judged by 12 the carried by 6!
