Funny incident at Walmart Supercenter, Federal Way WA
This happened about 6 months ago. I park my car and walk towards the entrance. I see this teen, really tall but very skinny walking back and forth nervously near the entrance. He kept pulling down his ski mask over his face and then taking it off.
For some reason, none of the shoppers or the Walmart greeters at the door seemed to notice or care. My panic mode set in and I waved at a police cruiser who was parked a few yards to the right, but the perps view was blocked due to a pillar.
The kid continues his nervous walk and I see this cop walking slowly to the kid from behind. The kid was so nervous he didn't notice the cop or his cruiser. All it took was a tap on his shoulder and he was taken in without incident. He wasn't armed, but if he did pull the robbery, he would have had some serious injuries to deal with.

You know, that if the BG's ever read this forum, they would realize that WW is not the place to try and commit a crime.
I mean, just think of all the WWWalkers that are out there. Just boggles the mind.

You know....with all the concealed carry people using Wal-Mart, ideally, we are making the whole experience much safer. This hooded guy may not have heard about the Wally Walk. They should justly compensate us, like with a free box of ammo???
Am I asking way too much??

You know you may have saved that kid life by bring what he was about to do to an LEO’s attention.
At the very least, since he was complacent, in the first place, being taken down town, and spending a couple nights in public housing may be all it takes to put him on the right path.

Exactly. Safety is what it's all about. Police and Sheriff's deputies can't be everywhere at the same time. We are responsible to provide protection for ourselves and our families.
Oh, that kid has never heard of the Wally Walk. He was probably high and his only concern was drug money.
A box of ammo would be nice, but they probably don't have any.

Nice alertness on your part, but I am amazed that few people even noticed this clown. Most people just walk around in a cloud...until the storm really hits.
Stay armed...always have an umbrella and a gun...stay safe!

Most people wouldn't notice a 4 Ton pink and purple elephant if it walked in front of them.
Good looking out.
