Just FL right now. It covers almost everywhere I go. The only two it doesn't cover that I travel to are ones that don't issue permits (WI, and IL)![]()

Florida seems to be enough by itself. I just can't see a huge gain anywhere else
2A is not negotiable
VA, PA, NH, and a looong wait for FL. I'am covered everywhere we go except when my wife and I go to see her relatives in WI and have to also go through the NE part of IL. There's always open carry in WI, but they still will arrest you for disturbing the peace, even after the State AG said not to.

My reason would be recognition and reciprocity. West Virginia has it with 23 states currently. Georgia, Alabama, and a couple of others do not, but will recognize a non-resident New Hampshire permit. I can travel all the way from WV to FL where I have a friend but cannot carry legally in GA where wife has relatives. That is my reasoning for getting another permit.

I have only my Ohio CHL.
I do little out of state travel, mostly confined to:
Indiana: Passing through on the way to Missouri to hunt. My CHL is valid in IN.
Illinois: Passing through on the way to Missouri and once a year family visit to Chicago. No CCW AT ALL, so there's no IL credential to acquire, even if I wanted one.
Missouri: Hunting outside of Saint Louis. MO recognizes my OH CHL.
So, of four states I'm ever in, only one doesn't recognize my CHL, and that one neither has a credential of it's own nor recognizes anyone else's. Therefore, no reason to spend time or money on another credential.
Four.

CCW permit holder for Idaho, Utah, Pennsylvania, Maine and New Hampshire. I can carry in your country but not my own.
VA, UT and NH. Covers all the states I want to go to except ME. Have no intention of going where I'm not welcome (me and my G33 that is).

Just Utah (res) for now, but plan to add 1 or 2 more on the future.
