    Wally World Walk

    After exactly 8 weeks of agonizing wait, I got that much sought after envelope from the Sheriff--CCW! Of course the first thing on the to do list was a visit to the local stuffmart.
    Keep in mind that this is not a super walmart, so no steaks (I couldn't even find a beef jerky stick in the check out line) and instead of a snack bar, we've got McHeartAttack, so I have taken the liberty of adjusting my walk accordingly. My trip yielded the following:

    Fries and a coke (in place of nachos)

    Milk and eggs

    Carry garments (polo and shorts in slightly larger size), DVD (Bourne Identity), and ammo (CCI MiniMag--cause I bought all the 9mm earlier this week ).

    So, there it is! The first public appearance under the new CCW.

    Congratulations Pastor!
    I still have 2 weeks to go till 30 days are up for my CPL. The Walmart at Renton is always packed full of people (like sardines!) so I may go to the Federal Way Walmart supercenter for my first walk.

    Hey PastorPack, I'm a packing pastor too!

    I really had no idea about the Wal-Mart Walk until I got into this forum. I have been carrying since the first of the year. I am one of those guys who wears a High Noon holster tucked in at about 5:00. My friend who took the Concealed carry class with me says that when I stand up from a seated position I move like a pregnant woman! I'm pretty green, but working to improve.

    I think it is great to get comfortable with the idea of being armed. I really don't think there is much to worry about as long as we follow the rules. But it is kind of a big deal to go out in public the first time. Congratulations!
