    Wife got her CCP

My wife took the required class to get her concealed carry permit. Went to the courthouse, filled out the application, presented her class certificate, got fingerprinted, and paid her $50 application fee.

Now, 11 days later (yes, eleven days) her permit came in the mail.

Congrats, glad to see your wife is interested and shares the same interest. I got my CCW in 14 days in MO. My wife is still waiting (60 days) for her Utah. She is thinking she should have went with MO instead.

Congrats on your wife receiving her permit. It is nice to know that you do have a shared interest. Here in Nevada there is up to a 120 day wait for a permit. I received my in 34 days. I was darn pleased to receive it so quickly! Both of you be safe now!

Congrats to your wife. I was very pleased when mine got her's. Just makes you feel better knowing she will be safer than the ones that are not convinced they need one......yet.

    Congrats on the new permit.

All pistol permits (and we shouldn't have to have them anyway) should and could have the same day application and presentation...they can do it for a driver's license.

The 'no permit needed' works in Alaska...has there been bloodshed in the streets?

A background check for gun purchases is done in a few minutes...all of this waiting crap is, at best, some form of ('anti') money making business. IMHO

$50.00 dollars what a ripoff, we only have a $10.00 fee, $20.00 if you want a CCW with a PIC. Congrats on the new permit!

    Congrats on your wifes permit.

Obviously your not located in Henrico county, they take the full time the law gives them, but at least they have a time limit on how long they can take before having to give you a temporary permit.

Wow, that is pretty quick compared to many places.
