    Thanks buck...
    I will check into this.

The non resident PA permit is also an easy one to obtain (a little over a week on mine - albeit about 4 years ago) and it is good in GA.

NH wait time is now 3 months according to their phone message. The wife and I just received ours (Applications mailed first week in Feb). Mine was wrong, called them yesterday, left message, received a call back, corrected one in the mail already headed to me.
Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift, that's why it is called, Present.

There needs to be a national reciprocity like with driver licenses.

I'm noticing an interesting concept here...non-resident permits?? While I don't need something like this now, it might be something I might like to get so I can be covered if I do have to travel to a state that doesn't honor. So NH and PA are popular ones?

I have both, easy to obtain if you have your home state permit. Florida is even better, but $117.00 for 7 years, and a long wait. They are now only processing mail from January.

I have a NH PRL now but once it expires, I plan to to get Utah. Same states that NH has and a few more.
