"No concealed weapons allowed!!!"
How many times have you turned around and gone back to your vehicle after seeing this sign? How many ignore it? I have been encouraged by LEO to turn around and refuse to patronize these establishments. I'm considering putting together a website that users can log in and list/tag these types of businesses within each state so that CCW Permit holders can completely avoid them. Is this something that already exists? If so, where can I find it?
Your thoughts??

I've never seen one in FL (I'm sure there are some...), but it's not something we have to worry about.
I love the GunShine State.

I have only seen one posting that actually follows the law for posting here in Arkansas. Other signs or window decals I have seen do not follow the Arkansas laws for posting. Be that as it may, and I'll plead the 5th on the rest of the story.

It's funny because we used to see a lot of them here in NC but in the past year or so they've began to disappear. The only one that I ran into since I've had my CCW Permit is at Sonny's Barbeque in Concord, NC next to Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World, isn't that ironic.
Nonetheless, I refuse to eat there until the sign comes down and I've contacted them to let them know that. I'm encouraging everyone else to do the same.

We have one in KS called ccwhere.com (side note - the site doesn't seem to be working at the moment). Right now mostly only Kansas City folks use it, but anyone can post a place anywhere.

Rocky Mountain Gun Owners has something like this for Colorado:
MAP Businesss Listing
They also have a "Merchant Awareness" program which you can read about here:
Merchant Awareness Program Index
That should give you some good info if you put together a website like you described.

I think that’s an outstanding idea and I would love to see such a database website. I’m confident that over time, the site would get the attention of the media and business owners. “The squeaky wheel gets the grease”.
BTW: I do in fact overlook those signs unless it's a government or medical facility.

Another thing I think is hilarious, I have gone to Walmart and Bass Pro Shops recently and purchased a shotgun and rifle respectively. Both times I was carrying concealed. The funny part is that both times, I have been escorted by the Manager on Duty to the front of the store and only when I have exited the store will they hand me the firearm. The entire time I have a loaded/chambered .40 semiautomatic handgun that they have no idea about. What is the purpose in the background check if they're still gonna treat you like a criminal?
Another funny/odd thing is that they will not sell ammo to you if you are also purchasing a firearm.

"You have chosen to ban firearms in your store. As such, I have chosen
to take my gun, and my money, to your competitors until such time as
you choose to allow law-abiding armed citizens in your establishment..
Citizens are legally allowed to carry firearms openly or concealed (with a
valid license) to protect themselves and their families in case someone else
threatens to harm them.
By prohibiting all weapons, you have disarmed and made helpless anyone
who enters your store—except for criminals, who won’t follow your policy
anyway. In essence, you’ve made your store more dangerous for patrons
who carry legally...and safer for criminals.
Please consider changing your policy. There may come a time when an
armed, law-abiding citizen stands between you and an armed criminal."
