I know I need to "be patient, chill out, do cross words, practice carrying at home" and all that stuff, but I cant help but count the days. I only hope that 90 days is the max. Thank you for allowing me to rant.

I mailed mine in at the beginning of March 2009, still waiting
I live in the DFW area![]()
I waited 7 months due to an appeal. Hang in there!!!!!!!
I waited 189 days here in the Republic of California...
Hopefully you will have better luck.
Don't wait around the house, you need to be out and about looking for ammo deals.
Hang loose, it'll be here in no time.
Stay armed...soon, very soon...stay safe!

I have been waiting and my app has been proccessing now for "83" Days. I called DPS last friday to make shure there wasnt a problem but all i got was a very rude lady on the other end saying that i just needed to wait and she couldnt tell me anything. I only called one time before at the 60 day mark and its not like i have been bothering them. Anyway during the phone call the not so friendly lady said the turnaround time has been around 90 days. In a world where you can get just about anything fairly quickly, 90 days does seem to be just a little OUTRAGEOUS..

I got mine this past friday. Almost a month to the day from fingerprinting. Hang in there!
It will be a great day when it comes! A truly great feeling.
It is utterly illogical to believe that passing laws to reduce gun violence will be successful when those who are commiting the gun violence do not obey the law.
I suppose you can't do much except wait it out. When I applied for my permit, I was told 2-3 weeks processing time. I was pleasantly surprised to find my permit waiting for me 5 days later. I cannot imagine waiting 90+ days just to be able to protect myself while thugs are out there carrying guns with no permit.
USMC rule # 23 of gunfighting: Be polite, be professional, but have a plan to kill everyone you meet.
I am the God fearing, gun toting, flag waving conservative you were warned about!
Worth the wait...

I didn't mind the wait, but mine was only 29 days total here in Indiana from start to finish. However, it came while I was on vacation and the first day I was gone my sister checked my mail and fed my dog and there it was. Then I had a whole week on vacation thinking "I could be packing right now" I was as excited to get home as I was to leave 10 days prior to returning.
They can't take your right to own a firearm. They can ask with force and you can answer any way you choose.
DPS recieved my packet on Feb 24th. I just got off the phone with DPS, said it will be other 30 days to for the license to be issued - June 18th.
78 days and counting for me. The Sheriff's office said 90 days, so just another couple weeks for me...hopefully.
