I've noticed no one has replied to this.....wonder why. It's a good question. To my knowledge i'm pretty sure you can't carry in an airport, aren't there metal detectors everywhere!!!! Might wanna look it up though. Good Luck.
I guess I should have said I wasnt entering the Airport but driving into the terminal at the dropoff area???
You can carry in the Airport, just cannot go past security,.
This is the only thing I found in handgunlaws.us :
I believe unless specifically prohibited most airports are legal to carry in, as long as you do not enter a secured area ie. passenger boarding areas.Airport Carry: No Carry on any real property at Charlotte-Douglas Intl., Charlotte Ordinance Sec. 15-14 State Law § 14-409.40(f) Overrides Local by Allowing for the storage in vehicles.
There is nothing saying you cant here in WA. So long as you dont attempt to enter the secure area. You might want to contact the TSA before doing so, check the signs aswell!

No carry at Charlotte Douglas International. In car, unloaded OK.
CCW permit holder for Idaho, Utah, Pennsylvania, Maine and New Hampshire. I can carry in your country but not my own.
Those are the answers I was looking for, Thanks.
There is no specific North Carolina law banning cc in the unsecured portion of the terminals - however, many airports are posted, and many others are owned by the city/county in which they are located. While the city/county can ban CCW by ordinance, they must post the ban on the entrances and it does not apply to someone who remains in their car.
They have signs up at RDU saying No Guns. Not sure if I can just swoop in to pick up visitors with my ccw.
Where are seeing those signs at RDU? I've missed them.
Glad this came up, since I just figured it was a State by State thing'. Here in AZ it appears to be Ok in the non-secured areas of the shops, food court, baggage claim, etc.
