I contacted SLED at the 90 days and they informed me that the licensing department was short staffed and it could take up to 110 days to receive my permit. I asked about the 90 day wait time and they said they have to issue a denial letter within 90 and your permit could take 110.

I am glad the wait is over...

86 days and counting here. Was hoping to have it by next weekend, but sounds like I'll need to add a few weeks.

Congratulations. You can now walk the walk at wally world with your favorite concealed weapon.

States vary and even the local city or county sheriff department can be different in policy. I got my Missouri CCW in exactly one week although by law they had up to 45 days to either approve or deny my endorsement.

Congratulations and welcome aboard. I was very fortunate and got mine in eastern NC in 9.5 days. I have heard of some that took 90 days or longer. My local sheriff ran the background check and such and issued the permit. I feel very fortunate to have my CC permit and hope that I never have to use the firearm except for target shooting.
