Congrats. But let your wife shoot the J Frame before you purchase. More people do not practice with this gun than you can imagine. Not bad mouthing the J Frame as I have one but, I have to force myself to practice with it.

I agree
Glock 33 .357 SIG plus .40 S&W barrel for most of practice. Keep loaded with .357 SIG hollow point for home protection.

Way to go!! On statement of wife getting her CCP with a 642, be aware. My wife had a terrible time at the range. She could not pull the double action and get any accuracy, due to her weak hand strength. We purchased a 360J airweight. It has a hammer. All of her quailifying shots for the CCP were in the black.
