    Talking My Wally World Walk

Well since I work 2 jobs it has taken me a little time to finally do "The Walk", but I did it today.
As I am now the proud owner of a Walther p22, purchased yesterday, I had to take it and see what it would do.
My son and I was on the way to the range and needed some ammo so decided to see if they had any.
As I walked in the door I felt pretty good knowing I had my Walther with me and walked with my head held high. My son just shakes his head and laughs, he doesn't understand.
We got him eye and ear protection, 300 rounds of .22 cal and some 20 gauge for the shot gun, thanked the cashier and walked back out. It felt so good that we went to Meijer later.
I know there will not be many more "first" walks and one day I won't think twice about it, it will be second nature, but for now, it is great.
I'm all for gun control, I use both hands.

Glad everything worked out for you. I know people are going to ask so I will. Is the Walther for carry, and what kind of holster did you find. I'm about two steps from getting one for the range, and the fact that ammo is "pennies" in comparison to other calibers.. Greta post also..

Glock27/ KaBar TDI/ MTAC Holster. I have more also, but this combination works well..

Yes, I got it for CC. Because of some health issues with my hands I was having problems with my .45 so I thought alot about it and decided this is the way to go for me, and of course the $ for the ammo is great! I have yet to decide on a holster. I didn't think to tell, I am of the female gender. I had it in my purse. I have been looking at alot of them and haven't made a decision on what one yet. IF anyone has any suggestions for a full figured lady, I would most appreciate it.

Did my Wally World Walk today as well...

It wasn't that packed today, which was a surprise. Maybe there was a game going on.

I grabbed a cart and went straight to the sporting goods counter. I asked for .45 ACP ammo and he said something that surprised me. The ammo supply truck comes in every morning at 7a.m. with "limited" supplies and their entire stock gets over by 2 p.m.
He then tried to see if I was carrying, but didn't ask me anything.

I bought a Lasco Fan for $45 which is a big relief from the high temperatures.

Dreyer's Sugar Free Vanilla Ice Cream

I must say, I feel a lot safer going out late at night to the pharmacy or the 7/11 after I started carrying. Not that I am looking for trouble.

In short the Wally World Walk went smoothly without incident.
