Excellent paper on may issue vs. shall issue of CCW licenses.

Hey, guys.

I found this paper online last night, and although it consists of 247 pages, it is quite a useful tool in determining what sort of criteria states use (or don't use) in their issuing of CCW permits. I strongly encourage our members on this forum that live in may issue states to read this. The last 100 pages or so are the source references, so it's not as long of a read as one would expect. There is a section which is state-specific. Enjoy, and let me know your thoughts.

I've bookmarked it for later reading. It will be awhile before I will be able to- I have a lot of continuing medical education to finish by the end of the month. Yeah, I know, I shouldn't have waited until the last minute, but I really wasn't thinking of it. At least there's enough free CME online so that I don't have to spend money that I don't have to go to conferences. A few hours a night and I'll be good to go.
