Going to Block Island

I realize that I am UNABLE to carry since my CT CCW isn't recognized by Rhode Island. Would It be Legal for me, or even worth it, to bring my EDC M&P 40c in its case in a book bag?

I was thinking about spending the day unarmed, and I cant remember the last time I've done that.

Just going to be spending the day with a few friends, riding bicycles around the island, and returning by ferry that same day.

Block Island is part of Rhode Island. I dont think there is any reciprocity with CT. Might want to check that. If no reciprocity then you cannot CCW on BI.

hmm, I thought it might be different if it was not carried "directly on the person" as in a book bag in a case, Locked/unlocked.

But if going that far, I'd be better off with an edged weapon.

Rhode Island has no reciprocity with any other State.
Leave it in CT.
