Hard to carry during AZ, NV vacation.
So me and the wife took off on our honey moon road trip. The trip included stops in Flagstaff, Tucson and Vegas.
I found it very difficult to CC while on this trip. First off one can not carry in National Parks and we visited a couple of these each day. Even if the law had been passed where we can carry in Parks you still can not carry in Federal buildings. Well half the parks you go to you access the park area by crossing through or paying in a Federal building.
Where else dose one go when traveling? Restaurants? Why yes and in AZ one can not carry in a restaurant that serves alcohol and most restaurants in AZ have booze, well except for fast food and the crappy Barrel.
Don't even get me started on the hole Dam deal. What is a guy with a knife much less a gun going to do to a dam from inside the visitors center when there is so much better access from outside the building. Yep thats tax payer money well spent.
So my weapon spent most its time in a pocket holster in the center console of the rig. When stopping at a rest stop or other not so good place I slid the Khar into my pocket. I felt kinda naked but could not see taking it off and then putting it on just to set in the car for a few hundred miles so I could take it off again.
One thing I like about Utah. Put your pistol on and carry it. Signs mean nothing and carry into any restaurant.

Yeah, it’s PITA for sure. My real concern is when I travel to California where the threat level is higher than most other States I visit.

I'll be very glad if the SB1113 and SB1243 go through,. We have been emailing like crazy for those that said yes thanking them..

Until February at least, it's illegal to carry in any national park.

Exactly.
Once its legal you can still only carry so much. If you want to go into the tower at the Grand Canyon or gift shop both fed buildings. At Montezuma Castle National Monument you go through the Fed building to enter park. Tuzigoot National Monument you have to go inside to pay.
I understand concealed but I didn't want to spend my honey moon in trouble. Around here I CC but since we can OC and there are no banishing laws I don't care if its totally concealed. Like when getting out of the car and your shirt rides up, or sliding out of a booth etc. I make sure and check my cover garment but I am not to worried about it. I would have hated to have a moment and have someone freak out and me end up in the slammer.

FL too, except to add in that signs mean nothing here.

"That I cannot do."
"Give this to, uh, Clemenza. I want reliable people, people who aren't going to be carried away. After all we're not murderers in spite of what this undertaker thinks."

Yes, but what about when it is illegal to carry a firearm into a place?
