    FL permit

I called The Florida Ag. Dept today and after waiting 15 minutes, a nice lady said they were working on applications received around March 7. They received mine on March 26, so I've got some more wait time. I'll be over 90 days this week. When that happens, I'll call and let them know. They cashed my check on April 22.

I have read that Florida is currently taking about 100 to 120 days to process applications so, if you receive yours in another 3 weeks, that would be about par for the course. Good luck and congratulations. The Florida permit is recognized in many states including Nevada (which only recognizes 11 states). This is really handy if you travel to Vegas and Reno.

I wouldn't bug them too much...if it goes beyond 110 days, then call again.

I will once again agree with retsupt99, my renewal was right at the 90 day mark.

In addition, I have noticed a trend that is non(FL)residents permits tend to take longer then the 90 days.

Give them some slack, you will receive it.

They told me yesterday that a supervisor would call me. I haven't heard from them yet.

Looks like renewals go a lot faster. I just got mine back on Saturday - 18 days total.
