    Cool

I've heard of no news. Ms Ross will not schedule hearings, therefore blocking all gun friendly bills from being given consideration. I don't think emails or phonecalls will help at all. She's not listening. She is the obstacle. It doesn't seem to matter to her that the Senate has shown strong support. Maybe a mass visit to her and the legislature might get some not so flattering attention directed to her.

It sounds like NC is going through the same obstructionism that Tenn. had to put up with for years. A pro-gun House and Senate couldn't get anything passed due to the heavy handed tactics of the House Speaker Jimmy Naifeh who through the power of his office blocked practically everything in subcommittees to prevent them from being voted on by the full House.

But in the last election, the Republicans took control of the State House, Naifeh was given the old heave ho and was replaced by a pro gun Speaker, and this year we have moved several pro-gun bills through, even overriding a veto by the Governor, (restaurant carry where alcohol is served). And it couldn't have been done without the help of a lot of pro-gun Democrats who took the lead in getting some of these bills passed. Make no mistake...ELECTIONS MATTER.

I love NC and like to spend time there every year, especially the western mountains area, so I hope you can get the change you want as it would benefit me and other travelers as well.

If anyone organizes a visit to the legislature and Ms Ross, please post here. I'll join you and we should get media on scene.

I'll go. She has got to be voted out.

    Castle Doctrine is SB928

I think the other 2 may have died.

HB473 is still active, which gives magistrates the right to carry in courthouses (but not common folk).

HB1132 has been amended for the 3rd time. It pertains to permit renewal. It states that if the renewal application is made within 90 dyas of expiration, and the process runs past the expiration date on the permit, the permit would remain valid until the renewal was either given or denied.
