Ha!....no connections at all. Sadly though, it seems that in most counties you must know somebody or be "connected" in order to be granted this "priviledge".
Thankfully there are many rural counties that understand the limitations of law enforcement and gladly grant permits to most every law abiding citizen that makes the effort to jump through their hoops.
The lesson for Kalifornians is to not roll over and give up. It can happen!

very good
if more people would just jump through the hoops here in california we might just affect change i got mine back in january from the oc sheriff dept i am an avid shooter and that was basically my good cause that i transport firearms regularly.
