I've been all over Franklin, just south of Nashville, since Tuesday and haven't seen a single one.

    Good question...I'll add one...

I'll be there on Tuesday, any signs at the Grand Ole' Opry?

I was in Nashville on business this week staying in Franklin by the Cool Springs Mall. I ate at Carrabba's and Las Palmas in Franklin, Outback in Brentwood, and the Olive Garden in Murfreesboro. I did not see any signs.

Funny, my wife and I were walking into our favorite Mexican restaurant here in Collierville tonight and as I opened the door, she stopped and said, "Don't you need to go back and put your gun in the car?" I proudly responded, "No...remember it's legal now".

I then got wasted on Shrimp fajitas and Diet Coke!!!

See here for a report on those that have:

RESTAURANTS THAT HAVE POSTED - Tennessee Gun Owners

    and have not thus far:

RESTAURANTS THAT HAVE NOT OR WILL NOT POST - Tennessee Gun Owners

Unfortunately, I have no answer for the Grand Ole' Opry or the Ryman. I never go....

From the TNGunowners site...."I work in Donelson so I went to my favorite "lunch spot" today, DARFONS. It was posted "no guns" so I disarmed, went in and cashed in my "rewards points card". I had over 1,000 points (a dollar per point) I asked to cash it in and they asked why I was not eating there today. I told them that it was due to their posting. They thought that I was kidding...... "

Isn't it funny how they think they are doing what they think most of their customers want. It is also interesting that they are REALLY putting the remaining patrons at a higher risk as the "law abiding" gun owners won't be there to save their butts!!!

Wow, great way to save up for your next pistol and carry rig. Once you have it I would take some pics and go in to thank them being sure they understood the value of the set up and its MONEY that WOULD have been spent in the establishment!
It does not come to a hill of beans as there are so few of us that carry but it will be good for your soul and maybe, just maybe, they will see the bigger picture and change.

Thanks for the post.... WOW ,, Did anyone read the first post?.. OMG. Asking every customer if they had a gun? I use to eat there. Sounds like that place will ALWAYS be posted. I'll have to pay them a visit while in town next time just so they know they lost another customer.

Geeez. I read a little farther down and saw this....Who woulda thunk?

GREAT NEWS!!!!!! BAR-B-CUTIE ON DONELSON PIKE (NASHVILLE TN) JUST TOOK DOWN THE "NO GUNS ALLOWED" SIGN!!!! I walked in and talked with one of the servers and she said that the Manager decided to take it down because of all the info she was getting from people like us through calls, emails & letters! I am so HAPPY! I freak'in LOVE Bar-B-Cutie's food and I was heartbroken when they posted so......all of you guys need to please contact this manager and let her know how much you appreciate her taking the sign down. We need to get out there and give her our business to show our support of her supporting us!
