    Pulled over while carrying.

This is the first time I've been pulled over while carrying. I was speeding down highway 58 in New Mexico when I pass a state trooper. I look in the rearview mirror and see that he makes U turn and turns on the lights.
I pull over, roll down the windows and wait. He walks up and says he clocks me going 80 in a 60. I hand over my permit, license and military ID. He asks where I'm going, I tell him Texas, to drop off my nephew that spent the summer with us, I retire in a week and will start work the on the Aug 3. He looks at me, says to slow down and have a nice day. I thank him and get moving; going 60 of course.

Trooper was very professional and didn't even ask where the gun was.

I don't know if I would hand out my Mil ID... it's kind of like saying 'hey, i'm just letting you know i'm Military, and I expect Prof Courtesy'

I personally don't think I'd hand my mil ID... I do have a small banner on my rear window that says US ARMY INFANTRY though

Thanks for your service. And you might want to get a lighter pair of shoes.
