    Any Para-Ordnance CCWers

I have a P-13 looking for recommendations on carrying it. In the past I have mainly used shoulder rigs and a cheap IWB belt clip on. I know IWB is probably out of the question. I don't know maybe it was the one I had again it was a cheapy. Suggestions on the best concealment holsters for my P-13. Thanks

I've carried a P16-40, 14-45, and P10-45, you need a GOOD belt and an IWB with widely spaced loops like the Crossbreed Supertuck, Desibens #2 IWB, Fist #'s 19&20, HBE COMIII, Milt Sparks VMII, or TT Gunleather IWB, and the UBG Canute.

Thanks, you know I didn't even see Para-Ordnance on the crossbreed page I was looking alphabetically and didn't focus on the 1911 section above. duh It'll still being nice hearing opinions on the different types of holsters for larger frame guns. By the way how is the supertuck with larger frame guns any printing. I saw a you-tube video on the M-TAC and it wasn't to favorable for larger frames.

I personally haven't used most of the models listed above, I was just giving examples of what's out there. Regarding Paras and holsters, just find the right size for you're slide/barrel, the P13 is 4.25" correct? I carried all my 5" Paras in generic 5" 1911 holsters with no issue, even the railed P14-45LDA I had, I had to stretch the holster a bit, but it broke in nicely. I've had good experiences with HBE, UBG, Milt Sparks, and TT Gunleather, CompTac, and Desibens. I've been wanting to snag a MTAC for a while now, a friend just ordered one for his Kahr and I should get to check that out in a couple of weeks.

Basically you just need to find a Commander sized holster and go with it.

I tried a tuckable for my P10, and it didn't work out well for me, I'm not saying it won't work for you, but I abandoned that method of carry pretty quick.

I have a Para TAC4 but it never shot reliable enough for me to replace my HK p2k with. Love the LDA trigger and 12+1 cap though.

I carry a P-13 every day. I ordered a Texas Strong Side with a belt, an IWB and belt from Kirkpatrick leather. Both work great. I also use a Galco holster in Commander size. What ever you get you will need a strong heavy belt.

Actually IWB is the best way to carry any gun. I had a P13 and carried it in a Sparks VM II. You will need a good strong belt and I found it easiest to conceal in the 3:00-3:30 position. Don't go cheap on the holster. In the long run a high quality holster will last far longer and actually be worthwhile.

Given the size options from his site, you want:

why not CC in a simple Tagua small slide holster? I have 3 or 4 holsters and this simple holster is the most comfortable for me. Galco makes a good one, too.

Para P-12 is a good size to carry. Similar in size to a Glock 19/23. Some P-12's will fit in a holster for a Colt Officers model. Grip is a bit thicker, but frame very similar.
