It took a year and change from the time I applied for and finally received a possession license in PR many years back....mind you I already had a target license (which itself took seven months to get.)

    Attrocious...

Yeah I know. This wait has been so long...I've bought about 9 different holsters for 3 different guns I probably won't even buy by the time my CCW permit comes. This is getting expensive

Applied 19 days ago. Virginia law requires them to grant the CCW within 45 days or give you temp CCW. Anyone from Caroline County, Virginia? Just wondering about the wait. My overall experience with the application process was great. Very professional....

Kind of like waiting for the breakfast cereal promotional trinket to arrive when you were a kid?

    Waiting

Arizona Department of Public Safety quoted us 60-70 days of waiting. If I remember correctly, my envelope showed up after about three weeks.

This is what, day 16 I believe? Still waiting and checking my answering machine everyday. So the wait continues.

Yup, that's about how long they took to get mine to me. At least after I went back and got re-fingerprinted. Seems the first ones the instructor provided were not classifiable....

I turned in my application September 17th and haven't gotten mine yet. Yes, thats 7 months so far. I'm expecting it any day. Sheriff finally called me 3 weeks ago to badger me with the same questions I answered on the permit app and said 4-6 weeks more and i should have it.

    Upstate NY rocks.
