    Now The Wait Begins

Just returned form the Sheriffs office, filled out the paper work and got finger printed. Everyone their was smiling friendly and very helpful. The lady doing the paper work said most of the permits are running 30 to 45 days. So now I wait.

My wife and I were told 30 to 45 days but it was more like two weeks -- and that was right at the very start of MO CCW. Hope yours moves through as fast as ours did.

It's good to hear that some jurisdictions are quick in getting the permits out to the citizens.

Indeed, a coupla weeks sounds way better than 45 days Good tho anyways Mike to have friendly folks to deal with, that's a big plus.

Yet again tho it emphasizes the disparity between states and even counties - I must be incredibly lucky here - all done and dusted inside half hour - done deal (same for wife).

Hope my renewal next year is as easy.

My friend up here just got the call for the interview. He waited 2 months already , and not sure how long before he gets a permit after the interview.

Sucks you have to wait that long. With everything I hear about states making opeople wait so long, I have to thank my lucky stars for moving to NH a few years ago. Took myself and my wife all of 5 days to get ours. No fingerprints, no training certificates, no interviews, no BS.

    I'll take 30-45 days...

Been waiting the last 7 months here in Upstate NY. I guess that's what I get for living in a non-gun friendly state. During your wait might want to pick your gun, holster and belt. Good luck!
