Thumbs up FL License 122 Days and NOT Counting

Finally received my license in the mail today. The wait was too long but at least it's over. Took the opportunity to make my first carry today running some errands with a stop at BJ's, Best Buy, and a walk around the local Home Depot. First time as a civilian carrying, felt a bit strange. Felt like everyone could see under my shirt, but as I have had plenty of time to prepare, there were no issues.

For those wondering it took 122 days from the day they received it according the post office.

Congrats on the new permit...soon you won't even think about what's under your shirt.

If that's you in the avatar...where do you keep the liter box?

    Congratulations!

So you did all that running around, but didn't get to WW to do "The Walk" and get your nachos?

Congratulations! I have considered making a motion that BJ's be allowed as an approved alternative to WW for those that have philosophical or logistical problems with WW.

Yes that is me, and the litter box is near Bangkok. If you ever get there you must visit the Tiger Temple. Nowhere else in the world can you interact with up to 10 tigers at one time. He was the big boy of the bunch weighing in at 650 lbs.

Mine took approximately 65 days... I wonder what took yours so ridiculously long.

I'm still counting. I sent it back in mid Feb. I got a letter a few weeks ago requesting a copy of my passport to prove citizenship (since I was born in the UK). I provided my passport via fax, called to confirm they received it 3 weeks ago, which they did... still nothing

    Congrats on the permit.........

but I gotta ask...... if you are walking around with a tiger on a leash, why do you need a concealed weapon....

I'm thinking mine took about the same... 121 days door to door.

Congrats - and welcome to the club!
