We had Leonard Little in St Louis kill a mother while driving his Navigator intoxicated. He servrd his time during the week and during the off season. Why? The Rams won the Super Bowl that year. Why is an innocent womans life worth weekends and holidays in jail, but shooting yourself in the leg is worth 3 1/2?

What the media knows about firearms wouldn't fuel a piss ants go cart.

I don't think that citing the ludicrously short sentences of Leonard Little and Do'nte Stallworth has anything to do with it. All that means is that Little and Stallworth should have done several years in prison at the minimum, not that Plaxico's sentence should be shortened in comparison.

Learning about firearms and firearms related law from the media is like learning about astronautics, astronomy and exobiology from the third "Flash Gordon" serial.

Yeah he has millions of dollars but he wasn't carrying all that money around with him in cash was he? Since so called "Celebrities" seldom have to pay for drinks or meals he probably didn't have all that much cash on him. There were probably lots of other patrons at the club that were carrying more cash than he was. So what makes him so special that he doesn't have to go through the permit process? What gives him the right to place the other patrons at risk of an ND because he was to "Busy" in the off season (6 months?) to take a firearms safety class, or go to DefensiveCarry.com and learn about holsters.
