I agree DaveH. At least he is an "honest Democrat" if there is such an animal. Not like the democrat in republican clothing John Warner.

Both Idaho senators voted Nay. I very seldom have any complaint with our senators (a good thing). We just need to get the rest of the states to follow suit.

I'm proud to live in Arizona, where both senators voted "Nay".

They'll both get my vote when their time comes for re-election.

It works both ways, you know.

I'm with you Dave. I have only voted Democrat twice in my life. The first was Charles Rob when he ran for Governor. He lied to get in and lied to move up. The second was the local city sheriff that I have known for more than 30 years. Rob made me regret my vote and the sheriff was in a position to do little damage.

No one believes campaign promises, least of all the politicians who make them.

Did anyone ELSE see the bottom of the NAY list?

    Kennedy (D-MA)

That made me cringe a little...

Oh, nevermind. He's listed as "not voting".

Coming from New York, it's no surprise that both senators voted for Sotomayor's comfirmation. I guess Gillibrand has lost her NRA A rating.

In talking to my neighbors lately I have noticed that several have expressed a deep concern for the sanctity of the 2nd Amendment, and their worries about the new direction Washington is taking to undermine their rights.

My next door neighbor who has obviously observed the NRA sticker on my truck came over yesterday and showed me his new concealed weapon license. Until now he has never revealed one way or another his feelings toward gun rights. I hope he is truly representative of the real "change" that is going on in this country which will be revealed in the form of a very strong message in the upcoming elections.

    Good read thanks for posting.
And if you don't remember, visit the Gun Owners of America website. They have lists rating both senators and congressmen on 2A issues.

I am kinda disappointed, both senators and my house rep all voted the way I want. I can not vote against any of them, or even call to complain. I will be buying more ammo and reloading supplies as soon as the supply opens up. I do not think they are done with the attacks on the 2ND yet.

Anyway, I wouldn't expect to see too much of Obama with Deeds from here on out. McDonnell looks to be a shoe-in (don't want to speak too soon, though!).

Have y'all also noticed how utterly SILENT Warner and Webb have been in VA the last few months?? They want nothing to do with cap-n-trade, Obamacare, or anything else coming from DC. VA is a mostly red state...2008 was an anomaly I think. They know this.
