    Since retirement I just don't see the need for a back up gun for me . . .obviously some may think otherwise and I respect their decision.

    PT-22 .22, Grendal .380, or Bersa .380. They rotate, but mostly the PT-22
    I know not what this "overkill" means.

    Honing the knives, Cleaning the longguns, Stocking up ammo.

    No "BUG" but I carry a Kel-Tek P3AT 380 all the time.

    When I use to carry a Glock 19 on my hip, I use to carry a little North American Arms 22 LR in my back pocket as my BUG..

    I carry a Glock,.. So I just carry a couple mags,..

    A lot of departments prohibit carrying a backup gun. The cops I know who do carry one usually prefer to carry it attached to their body armor.

    I do not carry a backup gun, I do however choose to carry two magazines for my carry weapon.

    No just an extra mag(s) for my Glock(either G19 or G26)or one of my Colts..but when I get my Ruger LCRi can see it becoming a BUG.
