Did the WWW 2-nite.
Picked up my permit today, and did the walk this evening. CW9 IWB with a Wilderness 5-stitch and a T-shirt cover. I was a little self-conscious at first, but it quickly passed. 1st stop was sporting goods, but alas, no 9mm or .357. Had a good 30 boxes of Federal .40, and some .22 Thunderbolts. They have had .40 the last couple of weeks. The sales associate said they had been getting 9mm in about once a week, but it still wasn't staying on the shelf long. Ended up with a new fishing license, a filter for the AC, and a copy of Commanche Moon (prequel to Lonesome Dove). All in all, it went well. As I made my way towards my truck, I realized that I had never felt more well-prepared for the unexpected in a Wal-Mart parking lot in my life.

Great, now get your application in for the WW Trek Certificate.

Good job. I must say I was on this forum a while before I figured out what the Wal-Mart walk was all about. By the time I realized it, I had already carried in there a dozen times. What a great way to break the ice and get used to carrying in public!

Wally world might be the only place in America where legal and illegal carry happens in harmony.
