If I tried to carry a gun mounted on my mower I am afraid I would get to hear what it sounded like when it hit the blades on my Dixie Chopper... I constantly pat my right pocket while I am mowing...afraid it is gonna fall out.. I have actually been so busy and forgotten that I was carrying before...

I don't mow... my teenage son does... I carry a beer out to the porch to watch, while my 642 sits in my pocket...

    Carry while Mowing??

I also don't mow. The Yard Co. does that while I sit inside watching COPS on the TV wearing my G19 and two mag pouches with my year around shorts doing dry firing exercises above the TV!

don't have anything to carry, or mow... but my vote is for a turret mounted .50 cal. on the hood of a rider.

Your lucky your wife has your "covered" while you are in the shower. All I have to watch my back is my 14 pound black cat! He's one deadly kitty! His claws are deadly weapons. I have the scars to remind me not to make him angry! lol

Great idea! I'm going to have to get my wife to cover me when I'm in the shower.

Mowing the lawn? That's what I have a teenage son for! I haven't cut grass in 5 years.
As for being paranoid, why would anyone feel the need to disarm to mow the lawn?

I carry a Ruger SP101 2 1/4" DAO in a pocket holster. I'm more worried about feral dogs than people when I'm out working in the yard, but one never knows.

I was carrying my Charter Arms Bulldog .44 Special, but a friend of mine talked me into selling it to him. The Bulldog was lighter, but the SP fits in the same pocket holster (DeSantis Nemesis), and 158 grain XTP magnums should do just about as well against dogs as 240 grain LSWCs.
