Congratulations! How many states is that now?

I am still waiting to for Gov. Riley to sign Castle Doctrine into law for Alabama. When is he supposed to sign it?

With only 2 states left, I can see the federal reciprocity law being passed in the next few years. That'll be GRAND!!

Oh I know Maryland isn't the worst since if you have enough money or political pull you might be able to get a permit. And even if we can't carry firearms to anyplace except the range, we can buy them with out a special permit (if you can get them in state)!

But watching these bill die in committee EVERY year is frustrating!

Omni, you guys and gals changed the Canadian Government from Liberal to Conservative, there is still hope for our brothers and sisters to the North.

I thought that HI still didn't have anytype of issue so that would leave three states doesn't it? Or are they "issue" like NY, CA and states that have "may issue" but don't unless your an elite?

Congrats on the FIRST STEP. Now you all need to get the law cleaned up to take out the "restrictions" that have been placed on it (like schools, churches, posted business, etc..). Have open rec* (can't spell it) will ALL states and then goto an Alaskan/Vermont type system.

Remember for all of us (except those lucky few in AK and VT), it's only the first step (or our last step here in Oregon since we don't have any restrictions) with no permit and all concealed carry for anyone and everyone (except VIOLENT felons).

Good news for all of us.

While planning a road trip from Texas to S. Dakota, the prospect of legally packing while going through Kansas and Nebraska were dim... and disheartening.

This time next year it shouldn't be a problem. Yesssss!

Awesome stuff: Kansas and Nebraska liberated within a few weeks of each other. After we liberate WI and IL, the next battle will be for CA, NY, NJ and HI (etc) to be "shall-issue" rather than "may-issue." And maybe a national reciprocity law though I think that one will be tough.

Omni: hey coincidentally I'm typing this from the Vancouver airport, waiting for my flight!
