Humm,, wouldn't everyone who has taken the class be "Trained in the use of deadly force", since section iv says they are training us in "use of deadly force"?
Hey thanks for looking that up!

That phrasing is a little odd. I know that while I passed the course just fine and am comfortable with my CPL and its implications, I wouldn't really want just that to be enough to teach (And certify) other people in it. I'd want more hoops to have to jump through.....

Yep I agree, I wouldn't want that responsibility either. I actually think that they should do more scenario training, both in the class room and at the range. It would not bother me at all if the class I took had been harder to pass then it was.

I know there are people here that feel any requirements needed to get a CPL are an infringment of the 2nd ammendment, but I would prefer to know that those people around me that are carrying have at least some safety training and are not wack jobs that have managed to fly under the radar so far.
