The way it shoud be. Customer feedback and vote with your dollars.

Businesses don't usually get this type of response from customers, and if the management is worth thier salaries they will take this seriously.

Isn't there a theory that for every person that actually says something that there are MANY that feel the same way but are silent?

    Well written!

Very nice letter Euc. Raevan had a good point though. Get more exposure. Hope you get a positive response.

    Euc,

For over a year I have been reading and participating in this and many other forums. I have read most of what you had to say about most topics and have always considered your comments to be educational, intellegent, concise and well written.....but that letter to Cinemark is by far your best work!!! My hat goes off to you for condemming their actions in a way that was very professional, not demeaning and greatly insitefull. I truly hope that someone at Cinemark realizes that we, the legally licensed, carry our firearms to protect ourselves in this chaotic world we live in. I personally will not give my money to an institution that prohibits that legal right, even if unlawfully posted. I can buy the DVD and for the same price as a pair of tickets to a single screening, provide entertainment for my family and friends, including refreshments in a much more comfortable environment.

Hope you don't mind, but may need to copy that letter, Euc, if the Michigan theatres I attend start that crap. Of course, the stats may change, but the message will be the same

    thanks

Great letter. With the way you worded it you might actaully be able to get a point across, especially if you mailed one to corporate HQ.

Where can I find stats on how many Texas have CHL's?

Might be a bit soon, but could you post up any response you get? I'm anxious to know how this company responds to logic.

    Either way, good read. :)

Here's the story involving the fatal shooting that took place at Tinseltown here in CC just a few nights ago....

On the upper left of the screen you can click and see the story/video of the crime scene..

Scout, you can go to the Texas DPS CHL website and get the numbers. They even have breakdowns by county.

Interesting article that los posted a link to.

The comments seemed to revolve around on why the theater failed to have enough security to protect the sheep.

As usual, nothing about anyone doing anything to take responsibility for their own safety.

I made and posted these on packing.org several months ago; they're a little more generic (no mention of a specific state in particular) but use them as you will.
