You're good to carry in Idaho and in Texas. In Texas I'd see the 30.06 sign every once in awhile. I haven't seen any sign prohibiting firearms in Idaho.

I can go CC into any Outback, sit in the restrauant (not a bar area) and have a beer with dinner (if I wish to do so).

    Gotta' love the GunShine State.

I have never eaten at the Outback here in Utah, so I don't know their local policy.

A "no guns" sign has no legal meaning here, anyway. They can only ask you to leave. If you don't, it can be trespassing.

Based on earlier posts, it is corporate policy on no firearms, so the Lonestar down the street will get my business instead.

I understand the point, but who cares, it's friggin' Outback. Nasty pre-packaged food, crappy cuts of meat, poor service, and so on. I really can't understand why anyone eats in any of the chain restaurants.

Spend the same amount of money in a real restaurant, get real home cooked food, and carry there without anyone caring.

Doesn't make any difference to me. I don't like them to begin with. The first time I ate at one was the last time (nearly 20 years ago). The steak I ordered was as tough as saddle leather, completely covered front and back in pepper as if someone had opened a can and poured it on, needless to say the sorriest piece of meat I have ever been served. Personally they can take it back to Austraila or where ever it came from and put in the trash can.

I've seen no 30.06 or 51% signs in the ones I've visited in Texas.

I don't know if they have a policy in PA. I just ate there Friday night and was carrying. I felt safe. I hope everyone else did.

Good one. Brought a tear to my eye.

What has been said about Florida is true for me, too. I live there.

I've been planning on going there to celebrate getting a new job... May have to find some place better. Anyone know a good place to get a big wonkin' piece of barely cooked beef?

Whatever happened to "No rules, just roight"?

AND, you were perfectly legal in doing so.

For the OP: No signs at any Outback in Oklahoma that I know of, and I have been to the one in Edmond many times.
Anti-gunners seem to believe that if we just pass enough laws, we can have utopia. Unfortunately, utopia is NOT one of our choices.

Outback was cool twenty years ago. Now, they're a goofy chain that saves money scrimping on the quality of the meat. The wait staff have that "Aussie" flair that reminds me of all those tacky TGI Friday's, Applebee's, Chili's, Ruby Tuesday's, etc.

Try Charlie's Steak House in Orlando or The Chop House for a celebration. Why sit at Outback with a bunch of screaming kids, lousy frozen food, and feckless teenage waiters?

I agree 100%...Outback can stay outback as far as I care...go play with the wallabys.

The best steakhouse chain around here is Longhorn. I don't know if they are posted or not, nor do I care, I never look for the signs. If I go in I'm packin'.
