    NYS inform LEO?

Quick question for anyone that can answer or redirect this to a previous discussion:
In NYS (not NYC) do you have to inform an LEO if you are pulled over for speeding that you are carrying? (assuming you have a CCW and have it on your person or within reach)

    Thanks in advance.

    Jim from Buffalo

You do not have to inform unless asked by the officer.
