I agree the acronyms can be confusing, and I also don't see why some people find it neccessay to point out that "their state" issues a CPL, not a CCW, that a CCW is the crime you are charged with.
Most of us can convert CCW to CPL in our heads, kinda like long division. Besides the gun stores around here offer "CCW Classes" not "CPL Classes", so if it's good enough for them it works for me.
As they say in the army, avoid TLA's (three letter acronyms)
