California CCW in San Bernadino county?

How difficult is it to obtain a carry permit in San Bernadino county California? Do you have to be a California resident for som many days before applying for the permit,or are you considered a resident once you obtain a California drivers license? Do you have to resister your handguns before applying for a the CCW? thanks.

You have to be a CA resident (I don't know how long though of the top of my head). San Bernardino is actually pretty friendly when it comes to issuing BUT they are also a bit backed up so the time till interview might be a bit longer then standard.

Also when you apply you don't have to have handguns registered to you, but when you're towards the end of the process you better have the ones you wanna list in your name.
