I took a buddy to the range for him to shoot for his 1st time last weekend. There was a gun there in his mid to late 40's shooting revolvers and we traded gun and loads and distances between 7-15 yds, shooting snub nosed .38's, single action .357's, a couple or 9mm's with different sights a .45 1911 our targets had a coffee cup sized holes in the middle.

EVERYONE else looked like they were shooting birdshot out of a rifled barrel or were trying to color with their shoot N C's.

I saw 3 guys shooting a SIG357 that looked like they were shooting a .50. The target was a suggestion and the recoil was nearly hitting them in the head. I even got to see the sideways technique.
