I'm looking into defensive carry ammo for my xdm .40 and a buddy of mine is really chatting up rbcd. I have read a few things about it after google searching it and have heard more cons than pros. Can anyone else give up some good intel about it. Or maybe some alternatives? Thanks in advance.
Personally in my XDM .40 I'm using 180gr Speer Gold Dot for home defense, planning on using 155gr Gold Dots when I get the chance to carry. I've also heard good things about Federal HST, Remmington Golden Sabre, and Winchester Ranger T.
I'm sure other opinions will differ, but the one consistent thought on SD ammo seems to be that you should use a round that is 100% reliable in all aspects for your particular gun.
