    Welcome to DC!
Keep it up, soon you wont even think twice about it. A good holster setup is key to all day carry. Do some research and invest in a good one from the start, it will actually save you some cash in the long run.

Lots of good advice here about belt/holster. Made a world of difference for me since I started carrying 8 months ago. IWB makes even a full-size handgun quite concealable. Just a hint of advice from my experience. The one time that I think I was "made" as being armed, I was new to the experience and kept indexing the weapon. I think thats what its called when you touch it to make sure its still secure or you tug down your shirttail to make sure its hanging over the weapon. Just had to get over it and now I feel nekkid WITHOUT carrying!

Here's the trick I learned. Act like everyone else. Don't dress crazy to hide it, don't walk funny, don't look around strangely, don't mess with your belt. Just let it hang there off your belt naturally and walk and act normally.

The more you look like the other schmo from across town the less likely to be "noticed".

Soon it will be like wearing a watch, you won't even notice it.
