You may have seen this, it sounds similar to how you carry the bellyband
Women & Guns :: View topic - Bra Holster.. any advice appreciated
That is about identical to how I'm wearing the bellyband. It works with a very wide variety of clothing. But it's BAD for hugging! And though it's a method I will stick to, I need some other methods for other clothing types.

    The draw is also slow!!

Have you read the section holster section of cornered cat? Pax has a pretty good writeup there.
Yes, I read and reread that site frequently.

I have a shirt holster. I think it may be the slowest draw of all. But I bought mine for 50% off, so it seemed like a good option to have around. Unfortunately, it cut like a man's undershirt so would show under most stuff I'd wear. (Not print. I just mean, ugly man lookng undershirt. Ick.)

Shoulder might be good as another option, some day. But for me, it's in the same category as ankle or thigh.

You didn't say what you carry.
Just a little Kahr PM9, so it shouldn't be that hard!

Thanks for posting the link, Patti. I'd like to try a couple of their products.

Um, the thigh holster will be for miss grady, not me.

For carrying my LCP, I think it's comfortable.

    Your PM9 should do okay.

Sorry, Pheobe, for the slight distraction in your thread, and the assault on people's eyes.

    Paymeister, I admire your skills!

This, IMHO, has been a GREAT thread. & I have both bookmarked it & added it to my "training files"

I have for "many" years trained individuals in "concealed carry" The MAJOR problem I have had ( & my fellow instructors have ) is advising our female students. Thankfully, the ?? on the fire arms has become somewhat better ( many makers are now making guns that are designed for women. BUT, advising on how to carry is not easy. ( body configurations, dress style etc.) Your discussions on this are very helpful. KEEP them coming. ( pix would be of GREAT assistance & NO I am not wearing my "Dirty Old Man T-shirt on this )

BTW, here is a rig that I & others, have found very good for "off body" carry. I have carried my "cocked & locked" 1911 many times in one ( think Business meetings full of Liberals ) & never been spotted. ( Hang a fake ear plug out of it & walla = electronic device ) One fellow, female Instructor & high end Attny. uses one daily, either as above or on her brief case. ( her gun = Sig Sauer 250 she has alo ordered a "compct version" with the idea of carrying, among other means, in a thigh holster.)

Oh, yes, as a KILT wearer, much of this is applicable to me.

Here is a pic of me assisting in doing a class ( the other instructors are LEOs ) I am actually carrying 3 guns.
