AZCentral poll: CC in bars / restaurants

Arizona Local News - Phoenix Arizona News - Breaking News - azcentral.com

So far the results don't look pretty:

    The question:

Do you think a law that allows people with conceal and carry permits for firearms to bring them into bars and restaurants - but not drink - will make establishments any more or less safe?

B.) I think they'll be less safe. People with guns will still drink, and bad things will happen. 59.73%

    C.) I don't think it'll make a difference either way. 27.30%

A.) I think they'll be safer. All the extra guns will deter crime. 13.01%

Didn't this law already pass and goes into effect tomorrow? AZcentral has always been anti gun and most of their readers seem to be on the "left" of issues so it's of no surprise as to the poll results.

Most states have laws similar and there's no rise in crime. The topic was discussed on Tom Gresham's Gun Talk about 2 months ago.

Stratispho is correct. AZcentral has always been classic GFW's.

Law went into effect today. So far the restaraunts I've been to, I can honestly say I have not seen as many "No Firearms" signs as I expected. The majority I go to seem to support it. There's a couple of lists on some of the local forums here that are listing the anti gun establishments. Just not going to give them any of our business and let them know why. Hopefully they get a clue.

Don't forget, the "No Firearms" sign has to be next to the bar's liquor license--not just on the front door/window.

If someone has a list post a link to it please. I haven't been to anywhere yet that has the signs up but if I find one I'll be boycotting it and letting everyone I know to boycott them also.
