Carrying on a date.

I know this has been discussed but the words "carry" and "date" are very popular and I sent on hour in the search function and did not find any of the past threads.

Here is the situation.... I met a girl at work we went out for coffee the other night. I carried my .357 IWB Thursday we are going to a local metro park where a year ago a woman was shot and stuffed in her trunk. ( why do bad things have to happen at the best parks?) anyway... I feel very safe at this park regardless of the events of a year ago(this is while carrying) but i am not sure i would go here unarmed.... I guess my real question is how to bring up that I carry with out freaking her out. it was easy for me to tell my last gf because i got my ccw while i was with her and she knew i was taking the class and so forth. This new girl knows I am into shooting sports so the fact that i own guns is not new. I just don't want to scare her off.
