Looking to buy something new, this will be the first purchase since moving to Fl; what I.D. is needed other than my resident Concealed Weapon or Firearm License.
YOU are the weapon, your firearm is just a tool!
Actually in florida I've bought one with just my CWL
I know not what this "overkill" means.
Honing the knives, Cleaning the longguns, Stocking up ammo.
I plop down my DL and my CCW permit...buy and walk out.

A friend in the "gunshine" state told me they kept a mirror behind the counter. If you can fog it you're good to go.

Gotta love Florida. Went to a big show 2 weeks ago in the Palmetto area. Fondled all the nice compacts and mini's, ( which would get your hand slapped in NYC without the impossibe to get permit, glad I abandonned that state!) Picked out a Glock 27, handed the guy my DL and CC, sat down for 10 minutes and filled out a form, paid him and walked out the door with all necessary accessories......with what seemed like hundreds of very happy and well armed people.
